About the Project
The programme of work aims to research data visualization for IoT data from a wide range of sensors, including technologies such as RESTful APIs, MQTT, Web of Things, etc. This would then enable data analytics capabilities using machine learning algorithms, comparing data from similar devices, predicting potential equipment failures and making informed decisions. The project will also investigate different communication technologies for IoT such as LoRA, Sigfox, and NB-IoT. The aim is to expand the solutions capabilities to receive data via various means from third party hardware manufacturers, hence extending the addressable markets.

Funding Notes
Starting salary: £22,876 per annum + Home PhD Tuition fees covered for 3 years fixed term.
