LABORATORIES
We invite applications for a PhD position to work in the group of Prof. Vladimir Sindelar at Masaryk University, Czech Republic. The main role of this position is concerned with the synthesis of bambusuril receptors and the investigation of their properties. The successful candidate will use isothermal titration calorimetry and other techniques to determine association constants and thermodynamic parameters of complexes between bambusuril macrocycles and anions in water and organic solvents. The work should reveal new insight into supramolecular properties of this family of macrocycles developed in our group.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidates are encouraged to have experience in above-mentioned area. The main research topic of dissertation project is:

Determination and evaluation of anion binding by bambusuril macrocycle in different solvents
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Complete MA / Mgr. / MSc. Degree in Physical chemistry or related field
Background in host-guest chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry is preferred
