About the Project

The data mining is one of the applications of the big data analysis. It can play an important role in the development of intelligent energy networks. The data mining will be realised via the use of modern order reduction techniques. The key algorithm will be based in the TT-decomposition first suggested in 2009. The application of the technique will provide an opportunity for a real-time analysis. This will be achieved via identification of key modes and efficient multiplicative data representation.

Funding Notes

Funding covers tuition fees and annual maintenance payments of £17,500. Students with a first class/2.1 degree (or equivalent) with a background in engineering and physical sciences and Humanities, are encouraged to apply.
UK / EU eligible candidates only (EU residents who have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years)
Applications will be reviewed as they are received until a candidate is selected; therefore candidates are encouraged to apply early.
