About the Project

The project focuses on biochemical and/or cell biological aspects of protein transport between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. We take part in the Goettingen Graduate School for Neurosciences, Biophysics, and Molecular Biosciences (GGNB, http://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/56640.html). The project itself is funded by the DFG.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a master degree in life sciences and a good understanding of biochemistry/cell biology. Experience in cloning, protein purification, microscopy and/or structural biology is preferred.

In the lab of Prof. Ralph Kehlenbach at the Center for Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology in Gottingen, Germany. This PhD position (f/m) is limited for 2 years, extension is possible, part-time 19,25 hours/week - salary according to TV-L
