About the Project

My research incorporates a range of techniques including non-invasive brain stimulation, electrophysiological recording, eye-tracking, neuroimaging and behavioural techniques. Individuals interested in using these techniques to gain a PhD and are interested in investigating how the brain controls movement and how it allows us to - seemingly effortlessly - learn new motor skills are encouraged to contact PGR administration.

Applications from home, EU and overseas students are welcome.

Students are also welcome to apply with their own funding for this project (fees and maintenance), either through their own personal finances or by securing a scholarship.

Eligibility requirements include a 2:1 degree or above in Neuroscience, Psychology or relevant area, and an English language certificate (English at GCSE or equivalent).

Annual bench fee for consumables costs will depend on the project undertaken.
