About the Project

Ph.D. position available at the new chair of Wind Energy at TUM (salary level E-13). Research at the Institute spans the areas of wind turbine design, aeroservoelasticity, aerodynamics and control, and includes a broad range of activities dealing with the modeling, simulation and experimental testing of wind energy systems. The research position can be settled in the modeling/simulation technology area or in the experimental one.

Ideal candidates should have:
- A M.Sc. or equivalent degree in mechanical, aeronautical, energy or related engineering disciplines
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, and the ability to work in team and individually with passion, dedication and integrity
- Good proficiency in the English language

It is expected that successful candidates will be engaged in teaching activities at the Institute, to be provided in English. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and previous experience in the wind energy field.
