About the Project
Imagination Technologies is one of the world’s fastest growing and most exciting technology companies. Rapidly climbing the FTSE250 on the London Stock Exchange, the breadth of technologies and markets it serves involves working with most of the biggest and best semiconductor, consumer electronics, multimedia and App content developers and industry partners in the world. Our technologies feature in many of the world’s most exciting products, from the latest smartphones, tablets and media players to the future wireless home, connected multimedia-rich cars and much more.
Imagination Technologies is looking for a creative graphically oriented engineer to pioneer and explore new ways that low-level technologies can benefit end-user applications. These technologies include hardware accelerated ray tracing, OpenCL, and computer vision, in addition to OpenGL, Direct X, and fast video encode / decode.
This will involve hands-on prototyping and experimentation, to discover the capabilities and strengths of the underlying technologies as well as the preferences and inclinations of users. It will include working closely with the software and hardware teams developing the next generation PowerVR cores and architectures, and helping to define the requirements and specifications for those cores. It may also include working with device manufacturers to establish how the technology can be integrated into consumer devices. (tablets, phones, televisions, etc.)
Please note, we cannot accept application by CV / Resume. Please apply via the link below.
