Applications are invited for a three-year PhD studentship position funded by the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland, starting from 1 October 2012.

The successful candidates will join Professor Ming-Qing Du's research group and investigate the genetic bases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), with the aim to identify genetic markers valuable in disease prognosis and treatment prediction.

Applicants should have or expect to have an upper second honours BSc or MSc degree in biomedical science or a related subject. Experience in biomedical research is an advantage. The post-holder should be highly motivated, and keen to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Funding Notes:


The studentship will cover tuition fees and maintenance at standard Research Council rates, but unfortunately due to restrictions on funding the studentship is not available to citizens of non-EU countries (for classification criteria see http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/gradstud/fees/costs/status.html )

Fixed-term: The funds for this Studentship are available for 3 years in the first instance.
