): Possible PhD topics include: the implications for equality and diversity of the recession; diversity management in less developed countries; the implications of recent immigration on the labour market opportunities of more settled ethnic minority communities; intersectionality and careers; women, equality and trade unions. We will also consider other topics related to the work of CRED.

): Possible PhD topics include organisational memory and the history of women in the accounting profession; historical analysis of industry and firm profitability and of industry investment patterns, using macroeconomic and/or micro level data; evolutionary theories of economic change and the analysis of technological and organisational developments; historical perspectives on corporate governance and the relationship between companies and their external investors.
