Applications are invited for a three year full-time PhD research studentship. The goal of the research will be to apply the transformational leadership framework to the student/supervisor relationship, and examine the potential effects of such supervision on student outcomes such as engagement, retention and success, with implications for evidence-based practice, training of Higher Education lecturers and policy output.
The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr Nichola Callow, Dr James Hardy and Dr Calum Arthur.
The successful candidate will be registered with the School of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences within the College of Health and Behavioural Sciences. The School has excellent facilities supporting high quality research and is situated in an idyllic setting on the banks of the Menai Straits close to the mountains of Snowdonia. It is committed to the all round academic and professional development of its research students, with a vibrant PhD community.

Funding Notes:
Per annum, the funding covers a stipend of £13, 590, tuition fees and a research, training and development fund of £850.
