Corporate Social Responsibilities: Its Place for Core Night Time Economy Businesses

CSR is in the news and on global political and social agendas due to the frailty of finance, shifts in
social moods and the unpredictable climate.

This project will explore to what extent CSR currently plays a role in the night time economy and
recommend ways in which CSR might be cohesively implemented in this sector.

The successful applicant will be part of the new Food and Drink Hub which is one of the core areas for the Centre for Retail Excellence, a University centre which works closely with the retail and consumer packaged goods sector. We work closely with academics, funding bodies and industry to deliver new knowledge with real and immediate commercial impact. Our vision is become known as a major force in driving retail innovation and impact in UK plc and beyond.
