Natural Products Targeting Neuroinflammation

This position will focus on investigating novel phytoestrogen analogues which target molecular signalling pathways in neuroinflammation. Approaches include protein expression studies, molecular biology, RNAi etc. Candidates should be highly motivated and should have or expect to have 1st/Upper Second Class degree or Masters degree (Distinction) or equivalent in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Human Biology and Immunology. Candidates with expertise in mammalian cell culture and previous experience with biochemical, cellular/molecular pharmacology techniques are highly encouraged to apply.
