About the Project

Fish behaviour, ecology and evolution. Research uses a broad range of
approaches (behavioural observations, population genetic, phylogenetic,long-term data) to explore patterns of fish diversity over a range of spatial scales, and responses of fish species to environmental change.
Current research focuses on European marine fishes, and African freshwater fishes, particularly cichlids of the East African lakes.
