Dr John Fossey  Applications accepted all year round  Competition Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)

About the Project

Exploiting the chirality of atoms other than carbon in asymmetric catalysis will provide new chiral catalysts for important carbon-carbon bond forming reactions. Our research often involves overseas research collaborations and students will have opportunities to spend time in collaborating laboratories overseas (pending results and funding).

Candidates with an interest in asymmetric catalysis, organic synthesis and fundamental methodology development are strongly encouraged to apply. Note this PhD position is for Sept 2013 entry.
