About the Project
There is much work on the stress of being a nursing student and being a
staff nurse. However, there is little study, using the same subjects, of the
stress associated with the transition from being a nursing student to being a
staff nurse. This project will use validated measures of stress and other
aspects of psychological morbidity and will use both qualitative and quantitative
methods to investigate stress at this transition.
