About the Project

Serious Games are useful educational tools that can enhance student learning of decision making in relation to professional practice (Romano & Brna, 2011). It has been previously proven that computer/technology enhanced learning helps to make better use of clinical experiences and has a positive impact on the acquisition of clinical examination skills in trainee doctors. We aim to utilise serious gaming in supporting technology/computer based learning resources for medical education using the design, development and evaluation of a game resource for the learning of Medical skills.
