Archaeogenetics: Mitochondrial DNA and Y-chromosome variation and modern human dispersals

Reconstructing the evolutionary history of modern humans using genetics markers, including complete mtDNA genome sequences and Y-chromosome SNPs/STRs; earliest colonisation of Eurasia by modern humans: timings and routes of dispersal inferred from mtDNA and Y-chromosome patterns. Modern human settlement of Southeast Asia, East Asia and the Pacific: evidence from mtDNA and Y-chromosome variation.
