MIBTP fully funded 4-year biosciences PhD studentships

The Midlands Integrative Biosciences Training Partnership (MIBTP) is currently recruiting for fully funded PhD studentships across our partner institutions of Aston University, the University of Birmingham, Coventry University, Harper Adams University, the University of Leicester and the University of Warwick.

Our PhD projects cover the following vital research domains:

• Sustainable Agriculture and Food
• Renewable Resources and Clean Growth
• Understanding the Rules of Life
• Integrated Understanding of Health

The programme is fully funded by the BBSRC and our partner universities. The funding covers:

• Full tuition fees at the home rate (some of our institutions offer fee waivers for international students, more details of which can be found on our website)
• A stipend of at least £21,805 p/a (to rise in line with UKRI recommendation)
• A generous consumables budget
• A conference and travel budget
• The use of a MacBook for the duration of the programme

Alongside your PhD, your career development will be supported through skills training, cohort initiatives, masterclasses and practical experience. Our programme includes interdisciplinary training in programming, statistics, bioinformation and modelling.
