National Sun Yat-Sen University

National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) was founded in 1980 in Kaohsiung and became one of the fastest growing universities in Taiwan. NSYSU has endeavored to pursue excellence in teaching and research and to achieve the goal under the guidelines of “Aim for the Top University Plan” funded by the Ministry of Education. With Six colleges including Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, Marine Sciences, and Social Sciences, NSYSU offers 20 Bachelor’s, 37 Master’s and 27 Doctoral Programs. There are currently about 9,500 students enrolled and 481 full-time faculty members.
