Some 10,000 students attend the University of Roehampton, a quarter of whom are postgraduates. There is a cosmopolitan atmosphere on campus, reflecting the growing international reputation of the University, with more than 140 different nationalities studying with us. We have the only parkland campus in a central London borough. Our campus provides a close-knit community feel. We have modern, cutting edge facilities and a vibrant social scene. Roehampton has an excellent research profile, with some of the most highly-regarded academic departments in the UK. Two thirds of our research has been officially judged either 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent' and we are the ranked the most research-intensive modern university in the country. As a student, you'll benefit from studying with staff who are working at the very highest level. The quality of our academics has also been recognised by the Higher Education Academy's National Teaching Fellowship Scheme: we have more National Teaching Fellows per student than any other UK university. Some of our academics help shape policy as advisers to government, NGOs and industry. We have been ranked as London’s best modern university by three major university guides over three years (by the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015 and 2016, the Guardian University Guide 2016 and the Complete University Guide 2016 and 2017).
