Published by FindAUniversity Ltd, FindAPhD is a database of PhD programmes, research projects and opportunities.
Students can use our listings to quickly and conveniently search and compare qualifications, or consult our detailed funding and advice sections. In 2023, over 4 million users came to us looking for their perfect PhD opportunity.
Universities and other advertisers can log in and ensure their programmes are visible to prospective applicants using our simple administrator system. We typically list over 4800 programmes from institutions around the world.

- FindAPostDoc.com - A post-doctoral fellowship or 'PostDoc' is often the first step for newly qualified PhD graduates. This site lists a range of jobs and opportunities in various subject areas.
- PostgraduateForum.com - Our busy postgraduate forum brings together current and future postgraduates from around the world to swap stories, share tips and offer advice on Masters and PhD study.
- findcourses.co.uk - The newest addition to the FindAUniversity family, findcourses lists a range of professional training courses in a variety of formats and topics.

Doing right by students
It's in our business interests to encourage as many students as possible to pursue postgraduate education, but it's more important to us that students are making an informed choice. We don't sugarcoat things—we make sure students have considered if pursuing a PhD is really the right decision for them. Sometimes the answer is 'no' (at least, not right now), and that's okay!
Unbiased
FindAPhD.com is free for students to use. Instead, we offer a variety of products to universities and other educational institutions. These provide institutions greater visibility for themselves and their programmes, but we never imply one institution is better than another for financial incentives. Content such as university rankings lists are based on external data from reliable sources (such as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings), and sponsored content is always marked as such at the top of the page.
